Floating hose with 2 halfs of plastic floating body by HOHN GROUP is floating hose for CSD dredger. It is specially designed for applications with diesel dredgers on rivers and quarries.
The hoses with plastic/MDPE floats for diesel dredger consists of two main items: wear-resistant rubber hose and plastic hose floats. Wear-resistant hose has several designed layers of rubber and fabric assuring its functionality. The floats is made of durable PE materials. It consists of two halfs and, in practice, the normal operation of the hose(around 12 meter lines) requires 3 sets(6 halfs)of floats to be mounted on each hose section to ensure the buoyancy with 100% load with transported slurry material. Dredge Floats are connected to the flanges by screws and also with each other by slings to fix their position on the pipe. The design of our floating hose with plastic float is HOHN-Patented.
